Written House Productions is a production collective of film and theatre makers based in New York City. We are comprised of alumni from American University and The University of the Arts. Annalise Woolford, Nikki Scamuffo, Julia Mann, and Logan Milot are the primary founders.
ABOUT US
Our mission is to empower and uplift underrepresented voices through compelling storytelling. As a collective of female and queer film and theatre makers, we are committed to crafting unique and socially relevant narratives that challenge norms, foster empathy, and entertain.
Our film projects have been featured in multiple film festivals, including the Big Apple Film Festival (BAFF), Philadelphia qFLIX Film Festival, the Norwalk Film Festival, the Southern Maryland Film Festival, and the Bucknell Intercollegiate Film Festival. In BAFF, Olga: The Series Pilot was nominated for Best Episodic.
We also successfully produce live events, such as the yearly Graceland Benefit Concert in New York City.
Our scripts have been recognized at the international level, being listed as Finalists and Quarterfinalists in the Big Apple Film Festival Screenplay Competition and the ScreenCraft Film Fund. Our TV Pilot Script Olga won Best TV Pilot Script in the December 2024 Gothamite Monthly Film Awards in New York City.
Our work has attracted the talents of many professional actors, musicians, videographers, composers, and more.

Development Funds: Hiring casting directors to put us in-touch with more TV and film industry professionals. This will help us market our series, films, and pilots to more producers and showrunners.

Is my donation tax deductible?
Depends on a few factors like if you received a reward in exchange for the donation and the value of your donation above that rewards cost, etc. You may contact the nonprofit you donated to directly to receive information on whether or not your donation is tax deductible. Nonetheless, the emailed receipts you will receive for your donation is the documentation you need to make it tax deductible.

Yes, the security and confidentiality of your information is our highest priority. We will not sell, trade or share your personal information with anyone else, nor send donor mailings on behalf of other organizations, and we will only share personal information if you have given us specific permission to do so.
How do I know that my donation was made successfully?
You will receive an emailed receipt immediately after your donation is submitted and your credit card is processed. Your donation will also show up on your bank or card statement within 1-3 business days.
Do I get a receipt?
Yes, a receipt is sent to your email inbox once your donation is processed. Please be sure to keep a copy of your receipt for tax purposes. If you select a recurring donation, you will be sent an individual receipt each period when your donation is processed.
